Pre Kindergarten
At The Children’s Academy, our Pre-School Class is designed for children aged three to five years, providing a rich and dynamic learning environment. This classroom follows a Montessori-inspired approach, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace while fostering essential skills that prepare them for future academic success.
Classroom Overview (Three’s, Four’s, and Five’s)
- To enter the Pre-School Class, a child must be at least three years old and fully potty trained.
- The Pre-Kindergarten Class includes children aged three, four, and five, creating a diverse, multi-age learning environment.
- The classroom is modeled after the Montessori Philosophy, where children are encouraged to learn at their own pace while benefiting from exposure to more advanced concepts and opportunities to develop leadership skills.
Daily Activities
- The Pre-K curriculum combines the Montessori approach with the Pinnacle Curriculum, providing a balanced and comprehensive educational experience.
- Children have the freedom to choose the order in which they complete their individualized work plans, within the guidelines of the classroom rules.
- Spanish is taught three days a week, Bible stories are shared twice a week, art is integrated into the curriculum three days a week, and music is taught twice a week.
